personality } Stiles is a child who has raised himself. His mother died in unknown circumstances when he was a child and his father holding a full time job at the local Sheriff has led to Stiles doing a lot of his own raising.
With his mother dying when he was around eight and his father working, Stiles grew up fast in many ways. He’s a little too independent for someone his age, quite comfortable with cutting out all adult support and handling things entirely by himself, as he’s been used to doing to avoid worrying his Dad.
With diagnosed ADHD, Stiles has also been self managing his condition for years, not always well. He has a tendency to abuse his Adderall to relieve the boredom of being on his own, brilliant and left to his own devices.
Since going out to find half a dead body and inadvertently getting his best friend bitten by a werewolf, Stiles has found something to occupy his time. He’s proved to be excellent researcher with a knack for improvising very successfully in training and understanding supernaturals, teaching Scott a surprising level of control despite neither having any previous knowledge or experience.
Stiles presents as quite loud and brash to the world, overconfident with biting wit and sarcasm that Scott frequently catches the receiving end of. Stiles likes knowing he’s good at things and likes being good at them off the bat. He also soaks up recognition of when he does things well, though he rarely seems to expect anyone to recognise when he does awesome, probably due to the absence of close parental figures in his life.
Under the wit, Stiles is a fairly lonely teen. He only really has one friend, Scott, and his awkwardness with others keeps him from making friends easily. He also has a history of severe panic attacks, after his mother died, which are theoretically passed, but could show up again with another traumatic loss, such as not having his father anymore.
The secrets Stiles has kept from his father has been causing strain between them. Stiles had intended on telling his dad everything now that the kanima business was dealt with, but he’s going to lose his dad before that. Combining that with the slaughter at the station, being tortured briefly by Matt and then kidnapped and tortured by Gerard Argent, Stiles is somewhat more fragile than normal and relying heavily on his one friend, Scott, to keep himself held together.
Losing both Scott and his Dad will fall by the wayside to surviving though. He’s determined to survive, with his friends and family, at any cost. If that means killing someone else, Stiles is oddly okay with that. Even if it’s someone he knows well.

Spark: Stiles knows the basics of magic, namely, the exertion of will and belief to make things happen. His main practice is with warding, such as making a full warded circle with only a pinch of the theoretically needed ingredients. His wards can stop supernaturals passing them. With tutelage or books, he could probably teach himself more.
appearance }
Stiles has the most ridiculous face ever and is a hundred and forty seven pounds of pale skin and fragile bones. He flails a lot and falls over his own feet and plays first line on his lacrosse team now.
His clothing leaves a lot to be desired as far as fashion in concerned, but he is comfortable and it’s all fairly hard wearing.
inventory } Stiles has a jeep. It's not the world's greatest vehicle, but she's a tough jeep and is quite capable of offroading. As he'll be in Beacon Hills, his home town, he'll be able to raid both his own house and the Sheriff's Office for supplies. He knows his father's code for the cells and the gun locker. He will have his laptop on him, along with the files and information that has been gathered and stolen on supernaturals.
